Ammar, when he was a baby, was an easy baby. I used to carry him around everywhere I go until he's 3. That's when I started to work full time. I felt sad when I have to send him to play school at an early age, at the time with his elder brother Nu'man. Then he became very dependent on Nu'man. Up until now.... But this year I see a new development between the two. They are still close, but at the same time trying very hard to be apart and independent. Sometimes conflict occurs. The big brother have sets of rules because he is being protective, as usual. But Ammar on the other hand wanted freedom as he is a big boy now. But from afar, I noticed he looked up to Nu'man a lot, still...and try to copy what Nu'man do, as a big and wise brother.
When he was little, around 2 years old, he learnt numbers and counting first, even before he can speak well. We were amazed when he knows which number is bigger and which is smaller just by looking at the tv channels. When he knows how to speak better, he always asked questions like ...' If we add 10,000 with 10,000, what would it be?' Or, he would say, ' I know 13,000 minus 7,000 would be 6,000' Those are the numbers he fiddle around when he was 4! Well, he still good at maths now although I think he is thinking at a year 4 level (thank God!)
Now Muhammad his little brother adores him so much. They do a lot of things together....And Ammar becomes a responsible brother by taking care of Muhammad's needs...
But he's still my baby....my easy baby...
