Happy Teacher's Day

16th May is Teacher's Day. Even if we are not a teacher in profession,at some point in our life we probably is a teacher, be it for just a few minutes or days or years. I think all mothers are teachers, at all time guiding their children in whatever they are doing.Fathers are also teachers (probably more strict than mothers or vice versa)
Many of us remember our teachers from the old days of schooling, primary or secondary. I remember some of my teachers especially those who taught me crafts in school, like Mrs Chin and Mrs Diez in my primary school. I wonder where they are now.I love sewing and crafts because of them.
I also remember teachers from my MRSM years. Although not all, those who make the most impact on me are Mr Syed Kasdan who taught me Geography.Garang betul dia nih...Selalu tempeleng budak yang lambat gi kelas dia.Tengok dia lempang orang, the rest of us rasa macam nak terkencing. But I really like him when he manage to explain how wave in the sea is being formed. At that time I felt that he knows everything about this world..
Mr Shukor Ain who taught me Add Maths. He never would have thought i would major in maths because i was so bad in add maths.Hemm, i have lots of bad experience with the guy....
I love sciences subjects but strangely i don't remember any of the science teachers except for Mr Azmi( Because he wore very thick glasses and don a beard and so handsome and he is my homeroom teacher). And I hardly remember the names of my female teachers except for Cik Esah Mat. Probably because she sometimes sing in class. Lagu Mawar Berduri, he he.And she taught Geography...

I always remember these informal teachers of mine:
Shali and Silah- who taught me how to sew baju kurung when I was in Form 4. They don't know how the sewing had earned me money to survive living in the U.S for 6 years, in which I bought food with it.

Aminah Swar- an American convert who married an Arab and taught me how to cook Arab food and American food

Kak Wasitah- for teaching me how to be patient with other people.

My dearest husband- for teaching me how to be a brave driver, drive je jangan takut sesat sebab you can always turn back.

And for my other countless teachers who taught me how to love , to hate and making wise decisions and etc etc.

Happy Teacher's Day you all... May Allah bless you always.
