He is growing up!

Overnight, it seems like my youngest is transformed, from a toddler that screams on instructions and requests, to a little boy who obeys a lot of things that are being said to him...
He used to fight hard when I brought him to the barber to cut his hair. Tried many times, even the barber lured him with candies, he still didnt care...took the candies, but refused to cut his hair. At one time, his dad sat on the barber's chair and hold him, still he cries really hard making it very difficult. Although I know the barber can do it in a few seconds.
So we came home, a bit upset and when he took a nap, I cut his hair, my style.....
This is what happened: Just managed to cut the front part.

Then came one beautiful day, when all the elder brothers need haircuts, he tagged along. I asked him really nicely if its ok to cut his hair. He said, 'Nope'. Then I
asked again if incase after looking at his brothers he got soft hearted and decided otherwise.
Again, he said, NO. But then, when he saw his brothers are done, he got up and walk to the barber, asking to be put on the chair and smile, while saying YES...
We couldnt believe our eyes and ears!
Look at how handsome he is now:

She's at college now!

Alhamdulillah, Allah make it easy for us today when sending off Nabilah. Everything went on smoothly, starting from the registration up until her residing in the college apartment.

We were told after the orientation week the new students will be transferred to out campus residential. A bit worried, but still, we leave it to Allah swt to take care of her. She is in our doa and always will be. We pray to Him that she wont forget her responsibility to Allah, Ar Rasul, to us her parents and also to herself...

The campus is huge, the buildings/faculties are all nice and in cute colours. Why cute? Blue, yellowish and cream are cute colour arent they?

The library is huge too, and this is where she'll be lectured and trained most of the time she's in that university, I was told. That's good. I hope she'll study hard and also had the time of her life while she's there.

We miss her already....although we are about an hour away....

Be seeing you soon kakak!

2010...

A busier year than last year. 2010 that is...
Why?

1. Tariq is facing PMR exam later this year
2. Nu'man, UPSR, also later this year. Started night class already, from tonight and on. Means have to send and fetch him every night.
3. Muhammad starting his Kindergarten-4. Means have to send him in the morn and must fetch him at noon every day.Today is the third day.
Day 1- screaming his lungs out for an hour when we left him at Im@n Readers.
Day 2- Feeling better, no crying
Day 3- too much excitement (the teacher said). Later in the day, during nap time at home,
was crying in his sleep maybe because of tiredness.
Hopefully Day 4 and on he'll be fine, insyaallah.
4. Nabilah is starting college(2 and a half years of Library Science), after a year of part time study in Translation. Means I'll lost a loyal babysitter, and a part time cook....

I hope I'll be ok. WE will be ok, insyaallah.
Life goes on, right?

Cuti Sekolah Akhir Tahun 2009

VACATION MACATION:
south korea
venice

paris, of course

morning glory pool, yellowstone,us

Sampaikan mula2 cuti tu anak2 bertanya,

"Mak nak pergi mana?" Bila tengok saya bersiap pagi2 lepas masak heavy breakfast(so that last long, at least till 3 pm)
Sehari, dua dia orang memang tanya. Bila dah tiap hari tengok maknya keluar pergi kerja, dia orang pun dah tak tanya lagi....Mak dia orang je yang kerja cikgu, bila cuti sekolah tak cuti...

Tak pe, tak pe...cuti Mac nanti saya berazam nak cuti betul2. Tak pergi sekolah langsung seminggu....tengok la nanti.
So saya bercuti di imaginasi kepala saya saje je la macam dalam gambar2 kat atas tu:

Petrol Drinking Culture

Celebrating Hari Raya in a simple way is the best. How I wish Raya Puasa is also like this. And why many people are stressed out because of Raya Puasa? So much money is wasted on food, clothes etc.

But I'm not gonna go on and on about Raya. Just to hilight things that I observed when I travel to a different place.
We went back to Pahang for the Raya. Saw one of my ex student there. She kinda in a hurry and even trying to avoid me when I saw her at my mom in law's neighbor next door. June, tghe neighbor said to me that the ex student is sick.
"She smells", June said.
"Smells?" I asked
"Yeah, smell like petrol. And complaining of having a headache. So I asked her to go back" June added.
"Why she smell like petrol? Did she dropped some on her clothings?" I asked some more.
"No, that girl drinks petrol" June whispered suddenly. As if afraid others would hear us talking...
"Drink petrol? Why on earth did she do that?" I was surprised (won't you?)
"She's addicted to it" June explained....

And I wonder and wonder, trying to figure things out. Why petrol? Why not daun Ketum that widely available in the area? ( A few months back an addict got drowned in Sg Triang while collecting daun Ketum)
Then I realized that just like sniffing gum, petrol smells almost similar and she drinks it to satisfy her addiction. This girl is harming herself by doing this and nobody even cares!
What will happen to this place? The old ones died one by one, leaving the young ones doing whatever they like.
I wonder how many of them like her....drinking petrol.
